We’re the co-founders of Jovita Lifestyle.


We are partners in business and marriage. And our stories are probably pretty similar to yours…


We both struggled with our weight, restricting and binging, and yo-yo dieting for decades of our lives which eventually led to slow metabolisms & hormonal issues.

With both of our healing journeys, we learned that our metabolisms were the epicenter for essential body functions. And the current state of your metabolic function, can help tell us about your overall health. We have coached 100’s of women to overcome these struggles 1:1 for years, but eventually we knew that this message needed to reach a larger audience. And that was how Metabolic Awakening was born! 


Evita's Story

 I struggled with the restrict/binge cycle for decades and lost and gained the same weight over and over and over again. Eventually this led to an extremely slow and adapted metabolism, severe hormone imbalances, hair loss, brain fog, loss of my menstrual cycle, digestion and gut issues, & a sluggish thyroid. Not to mention a horrible relationship with food, zero self love and confidence, and an inability to maintain a healthy weight. I began to truly believe I was broken and doomed to feel uncomfortable in my body forever.


I realized, as a woman, I had limited resources to heal. Conventional doctors would immediately jump to restrictive diets and medication (SSRIs, Hormonal Birth Control etc.) to treat & mask symptoms, but no one focused on getting to the root cause and healing at the core. This led me to a holistic healing approach through nutrition and lifestyle, and this is where I ultimately was able to heal and thrive. I went from eating 1200 calories and struggling to lose weight to eating 2000 calories and maintaining a 65 lbs weight loss goal & I credit it all to our metabolic awakening method!

Jovi's Story

 I’ve always struggled with balance and extremist tendencies. I was either all the way in or all the way out. This was especially true with my relationship with food and fitness. I thought to reach my physique goals I had to eat “diet food” and workout an excessive amount. I believed if foods were labeled “sugar-free” or “low calorie” that it meant it was healthy. And when I wasn’t dieting, I would go the complete opposite side of the spectrum and eat all the things I had been restricting in excess; fast food and highly processed sweets and snacks. This left me with no balance, burnt out, high cholesterol levels, and debilitating hormonal acne and hyperpigmentation that lead to depression.


Through a pro-metabolic lifestyle, holistic nutrition, and intentional movement, I was able to heal my hormonal acne, high-cholesterol levels, and the inflammation in my body. I was also able to feel in control around food again and maintain my physique goals year round in a sustainable way.

Will I lose weight while going through this course?

Yes, it is possible! In phase 2 of the program we focus on sustainable fat loss. Phase 1 of the program is intended as a priming phase to get you ready for sustainable fat loss. In order for your body to be in a primed and ready state for fat loss, this priming phase cannot be skipped over. The intention is to restore your metabolism so weight loss will finally be possible to achieve and keep.

The course is written in context for women, but most of the same principles apply to men and they are welcome to purchase the program.


How fast can I get through the lessons?

You can get through all the course content in a few days if you breeze through it. But it’s important to note that metabolic restoration, balancing hormones, and fat loss takes time. So although you can get through the material fast, it is advised to go through the course protocols within the suggested time frame and beyond. The program itself is 12 months long; split into 2 phases. First 6 months we will focus on restoring your metabolism and the last 6 months we will focus on effortless fat loss. You will be going through the course material with bi-weekly LIVE coaching calls with a coach to help answer your questions and keep you on the right track. 


How do I access my course?

You can access the program on a computer, tablet, or on a smartphone. The link will be emailed to you instantly with your receipt when you sign up. The course itself will be easy to follow along with videos and worksheets. You do not need to be tech savvy!


How do I access the workouts?

What if I want to focus on fat loss first?

You will do a "observation week" of your current nutrition/lifestyle when you first begin the program and we will determine for you whether you should focus on fat loss first or restoring your metabolism first. In some cases it is advisable to focus on fat loss first.


Are results guaranteed?

Because this journey is so individualized and because the results are very dependent on YOU being consistent, following protocols, making adjustments when needed, etc. we cannot guarantee results. Do I need any workout equipment?

For the home workouts, all you will need is 2 sets of dumbbells (1 light & 1 heavy set) and glute resistance bands. We will give you recommendations of affordable options.


If I have a specific hormonal imbalance, am I able to get custom protocols for that?

Your program comes with 1 functional lab (blood) test to determine any hormonal imbalances. You will receive a review and breakdown of your results with supplementation and nutrition suggestions.
